At least their fans rip other people. Our morons bitch about our 13-0 coach and hate on the qbs etc constantly.

This.

Who cares what they say. LSU has a great football team and Les Miles has done a great job since he took the job. You guys are playing for the NCG so do your job as a fan and cheer them on. Haters are going to hate. People are going to make excuses or delusional comments, so what?

It's going to be a another great game between the Tide and the Tigers so let's get it on.

I'm not your stereotypical backwoods redneck Bama fan. I can actually give credit where credit is due and talk football.

Unlike the people at tidefans.com. I feel as if my IQ drops when I read the posts over there.

which is better than many bama fans and better than many LSU fans, too. i guess our passion for our respective football teams really distorts our vision of reality. but we must take the bad with the good. bama is a damn good team with a damn good coach. ditto with LSU. i am looking forward to many great match-ups in the future.

Watching and laughing at the mentally challenged is insensitive and wrong.

I've been over there probably two or three times just to have a laugh and decided I'd rather not give his websites the hits anymore. So 'em.

i really think that there are people out there that really can't distinguish life from a game. i love for bama to win, and it sucks when they lose, but after the games over you still have friends and family, a job, and bills to pay, so you can't get too worked up over a game.

it's funny and really sad at the same time to see how some fans get so out of whack over some of this stuff.

BTW do you have a tidefans account - I started browsing their forums this past month. It is hilarious - nothing to beat the chaos that is the rant though - but the levels of entitlement and the insecurity that creeps through it leading to utter paranoia is very amusing.

I do believe that it would be a decent forum though if they limited the moderation as well as allowed some other voices to be heard.

Nope, never even been to the site and if it's as bad as you guys say then I don't think I want to go there. I actually came here from tidesports (affiliated with the tuscaloosa news website) after I got banned for basically giving my opinion that the players were no longer considered Saban's players and that Miles was responsible for their success.

I would say that would be a good step forward but the reality of that actually happening is probably non-existent.

It makes me laugh because the guy is an idiot but also embarrasses me because it makes Bama fans look bad.

eta - and if one of my buddies acted that way he'd be leaving my house. i get pissed when watching games don't get me wrong, but that's a little over the top.
