I vote for UGA 2003, and I'm class of 1982. To me one of the most incredible things I have ever seen in Tiger stadium was when the LSU student section of 2003 started the LSU chant after UGA tied the game late in the 4th quarter. The students willed that team to victory. It was special Thanks!
you could tell the coaches knew it too... when Saban came over to the student section after the game to show his respect THAT was some good shite

been there for most every big game since mid 70's.
My vote goes to the 1987 Ohio State game prior to kick off when OSU refused to come out the tunnel before the Tigers
Honorable mention to
Earthquake Game
97 Florida
2007 Florida when the USC score was announced

1979 USC game on a number of occassions.
No other game in my lifetime comes close...and that was well before the East Upper expansion.

USC '79. They were ranked #1. I was a freshman and never sat down as well as 95% of the stadium. We would have won if not for a phantom face mask call.

Florida game last year after USC score was announced. Not only was it the loudest but one of the happiest times ever in LSU history.

Dead on about '79 USC. I've been going to LSU games since I was 10. I'm 56. USC was the longest and most consistently loudest ever.
It was weird. Like standing next to a jet engine the entire game.
For 30 minutes after the game was OVER.....nobody left and chanted "LSU....LSU...." for 30 minutes.
Without question the most inspiration crowd I've seen.
A friend was with me during that game that has been to many more college games than me. Was at the classic OU-Nebraska Johnny Rodgers game. Ohio State games. USC games at California. At Michigan games. Went to Notre Dame games. I've left out many. He NEVER heard a crowd as rowdy and frantic as that one.

The USC game in '79. I listened on the radio and the crowd at times even drowned out John Ferguson's broadcast. Though others have been loud, I've never heard anything like that night. It was pure electricity. Dammit, shoulda won that game.

" Turn back the clock game " 1972? Bert Jones to Brad Davis for the win. For just a single sustained cheer that was as loud as I've ever heard it. And I was there for the earthquake , Florida 07 and many others

I was at that Auburn vs. LSU 07 and at Bama vs. LSU this year, and I haven't heard Tiger Stadium
like that Auburn game all this year.....
Difference being our confidence in the coaching of our Wonderful TIGER players.

That game with Bert Jones to Brad Davis wasn't in 72 it was 73 or 74, I was there and that tied
the game 16 -16 against Ole Miss. Rusty Jackson our place kicker kicked the extra point to win. After it took 15 minutes to calm the crowd and clear the field. I believe it was the year we played Penn State in the Orange Bowl, maybe 1973.
Anyone remember those days?

The USC game of 79 was the loudest from beginning to end. The Bert Jones pass with one second left to beat Ole Miss in 72 was the loudest moment. Beating Notre Dame 28-8 was loud as was tieing #1 Nebraska 6-6 in 76. You guys are all so young

Southern Cal with out a doubt. We should have won that game.
