You know what is funny bout Herbie is thathe constantly harps on the whole angle about how the underdog has to listen for a month about how much better the other team and it gets them fired up and ready to play and surprise teams. Then refers to Fla/ohio st OU/flast. Ohiost/Miami

Why wouldn't this apply also to LSU?? It's not like our talent level is so much less than GT that we can't possibly win this game like Hawaii/UGA

Not at all. I just stand behind my opinion that talking heads have nothing to do with the outcome of football games. I disagree, I think most sports commentators probably know more than the average LSU fan.

BUT there jobs aren't just to educate us. It's their job to hype things up, get people watching etc etc

Colin Cowherd is a very smart radio host, but if you kept track of his positions he changes his stances on a lot of things to keep it fresh and stir the pot and have people listen.

Hey newbie, why would I want the "big bucks" for believing in my team??? I am an LSU fan, how about you??? I love the Tigers, win or lose. I have seen 2 national championships in 5 years, and I have also seen 2 win seasons.
