Miami? Oregon? How about Michigan and Notre Dame instead; would make more legitimate.

Doesn’t the article say the list is according to HS recruits?

Even then it wouldn't make much sense

I would think that ND would be a shoe in for a top 10 brand

Exactly. OU is only a big brand because of Lincoln Riley. They had really fallen off before his arrival. So to have them ranked above USC is pure idiocy.

That’s crazy talk. Oklahoma has 4 losing seasons in the last 60 years. They’ve been a powerhouse since the 40’s.

They are a premier brand in CFB.

This is based on the opinion of high school recruits. They polled 1000 and this was the result. Not surprising since the best Michigan team in any high schoolers life was this past season. And usc hasn’t won a championship since most of them were babies or not born yet. Poll high school kids 20 years ago and you don’t have lsu, Clemson, A&M, Oregon, and probably not Georgia. You probably see Florida st, usc, Michigan, florida, Nebraska , notre dame, Miami, Texas, Oklahoma, and probably Alabama or Tennessee.

This is pretty much killing the sport for me. But it’s about time. The NFL has had a free developmental league and a monopoly on this sport. Just take away the student part and open this damn thing up.

It's killing it for you, so you want it to hurry up and go further in the direction that you despise?
