Ironically, all of mine are variations of things SOME teams and conferences already do. So I guess what I really want is CONSISTENCY across the board,at least for the 6 BCS conferences.

1) NO team in a BCS conference shall ever play an FCS school non conference. It's one thing for ULL to play McNeese, but LSU should not be playing furman and Towson. I think this should be a universal rule.

2) ALL teams in BCS conferences shall schedule at least one other BCS school non conference per year (see 2008 LSU non conference schedule).

3) ALL BCS conferences shall be required to ROTATE their championship games. I know that this has been debated to death, but it is unfair to many that ours is in ATL every year. I have heard all the arguments (central location, convenience) for this and I don't buy any of them. All other conferences rotate their CG and so should the SEC. Again, consistency. We should at the very least rotate between Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston and Nashville. Tampa, Jacksonville and even now St. Louis are all a stretch, but the first four for sure. This rule should be universal for all conferences with a CG.

4) No more bowl tie ins. The post season will get so much better after 2014, but I hate the fact that there is only a finite number of bowls/locations we can go if we do not make the championship game or when our conference. Chances of a BCS at large are always slim, that leaves Cotton, Peach or Capital One because zOutback will never take us. Anything else and you have had a bad year. Why can't we go to Sun, Alamo, Hawaii, or Holiday bowl? Why can't bowls just pick the two best teams left like the old days? Most will still be pretty regional, but what if one year the next two best teams left are LSU and USC? You are telling me a Holiday Bowl in San Diego would not pair those two? What an awesome road trip that would be. I just do t line our options being so limited at the end of the year if we don't win it all.

5) Strength of Schedule should matter more than anything else to the future selection committee. This will force all teams to schedule better games. Everything should be handled on the field and quality wins over teams who have played other quality teams should be the number one variable in the most subjective sport in America (why most of us love it do much).

Honorable Mention:

6) No rankings at all until first week of October.

7) MLB division races are one thing (at least very American) on ESPN highlights in September, but we should all boycott ESPN for showing f-ing soccer highlights once football begins. They should just go ahead and start a separate channel for that faggy sport. My biggest pet peeve during football in September!!!!

These are mine and just my opinion. What are your top 5???

Take the SEC HQ out of Alabama, there appears to be too much corruption that favors AL teams, referees and SEC schedule for example. Rotate the SEC Championship game to locations other than the GA Dome... The Super Dome included in that rotation.

1) Require all athletes to pass courses with a B average maintaining a full-time load each semester.

2) Outlaw redneck music in stadiums, during tailgates and on associated TV and radio shows.

3) Require a legal commitment from all athletes agreeing to attending the institution for a minimum of 4 years or until graduation with a bachelor's degree.

4) Require players to call plays on the field, both offensively and defensively. Special teams as well.

5) Abolish conference championship games.

Sports media has way too much influence on the outcome of the sport.

I'd like to see a means for determining a champion that didn't involve coaches pathetically lobbying for poll votes at the end of the reg season.

Every BCS conference should have a title game.

It doesn't make sense to have a team play 12 games, win their conference and not have to risk the conference championship game.

I don't care if you have 10 teams, play a championship game.

That's really my only one.

Also, if you don't win your division and don't play for your conference title, you shouldn't be eligible for the 4-team playoff/BCS title/what-have-you.
