How is that not a decline?

It's a real decline. The best stretch of the Les Miles Era was made possible by Saban.

2005 11-2 won the West
2006 11-2
2007 12-2 won SEC and National Championship
2008 8-5

I'm using 2008 as part of the "Saban/Miles Transition" to be fair to CLM. But the decline is real.

We should fire Miles yesterday. Just to shut up the pumpers, let's list the potential replacements and their BCS bowl appearances and wins in the last 7 years.

A high level as compared to whom?

I'm embarrassed for you guys that have literally no response to the facts presented other than childish sarcasm.
(doesn't that tell you something if you're being honest with yourself?)

FWIW, you only responded to the mutually agreed upon part of my post.

If all you want to do is bitch and moan, just say so. Don't pretend to have some superior intellect if you break down when someone pushes the discussion beyond "rabble rabble tDecline, Miles sucks, rabble."

2009: 9-4
2010: 11-2
2011: 13-1

That's all Les. No debate about it. A pretty remarkable incline.

Les had to rebuild after the 2012 season. We were DEVASTATED by the draft unlike any other school in the country, and it took a couple years for our recruiting to catch up with itself. Give Miles 2015 and 16 to put us back into the elite. If he can't get it done in those two seasons, I'll admit he never will.

This board is so much better after a win and all the people that would rather see Miles lose disappear for a few days

1. If you want Miles gone because his performance has been poor, why does it piss you off when someone asks "Who should/can we go after that his been more successful?"

2. If you think Miles has maintained the program at the same level of Saban, why does it upset you when someone suggests that shite happens, and we can still be good with Miles.

3. Why do you go straight to "frick you pumper, you love mediocre football" when someone realizes the season sucked, that they are worried about QB play, but they recognize improvement, recognize the competition in the division was unprecedented this year, and that the experience of this year can lead to higher quality football next year, even with Miles.

4. Why does it upset you when someone mentions Miles full tenure at LSU and recognizes that the coaching ability is there?

Just a few questions I have every time I see this same argument come up.

you always bring so much substance to the conversation
you easily bitch as much as any Miles hater...about the board that you continue to participate in....why?
why even jump in if you literally are just going to bitch about the thread that you are jumping into?
it's really almost comical

doesn't piss me off....but this has been discussed to death.
the best response to this is the fact that no one (NO ONE) thought Miles would finish top 5 his first 3 seasons...with a Nat'l Championship
Everyone knows there are no guarantees...to look for one (demand one) is stupid.
Many of us are willing to take that shot at this point.

the level of the program is not the same as the level of confidence in the coach and doesn't have to be

When Miles breaks Charlie Macs win record in 3-4 years I'll see what new numbers you use to validate your hatred
