Not going to do this list from when he was actually given that huge raise after 2007?
At least this list has all the coaches coaching an equal number of seasons.

So LSU is paying Miles to be medicore. Forget the rent a wins. Lets look at his SEC record since 2007.

Did you miss what happened in the superdome?
I'm failing to see how that invalidates them not winning their division or conference.

How many losses out of conference and out of division? SEC west has been stacked for 4 years in case you missed it
Ummmm... no. It was:
2011: 3 good teams in Bama, LSU, Arky and don't give me the Arky was top 3. The SEC was horrid that year outside of the top heavy teams and is the only reason Arky was that high.
2012: Bama, A&M, and LSU (3 good teams) with suckiness from Auburn, Ole Miss, Arky, and MSU was mediocre.
2013: 3-4 teams if you count A&M. Auburn, Bama, LSU, A&M. The rest were mediocre to bad and Ole Miss beating LSU didn't make them a very good team.
2014, you have a right and LSU is currently 6th out of 7 teams.

so what you are trying to say is there is nothing Miles could ever do to get fired?
No, I'm saying he's WINLESS since 10/26/2014!
But I hope he doesn't get fired.
This is the big time, son. LSU is a blue-chip program. You don't build a program up like this by just shite canning people you don't like. You need stability, you don't take a lot of rash risks. I don't know if you've noticed, but LSU hasn't been firing football coaches lately, they've been given opportunities to go elsewhere. This may look like a joke to you, but to prospective applicants, this looks like a professional operation.
To the kids on here that demand instant gratification, the coaching carrousel that you people would have us on would be a death spiral right back to the 90s. We're better than that now. Just fricking be patient. After all, is YOUR job on the line?

Did Bama backing in in 2011 cheapen their title?
Bama beat LSU 21-0. We got our asses kicked.
Unknown said it best the other day 10 wins is the new 8 wins.

Is that why the SEC went 6-3 (5-2 taking out Bama and LSU) in bowl games that year?

That doesn't change the fact that the backed in.

But they backed in. That's the argument against Miles' 2007 title. Bama also backed into in in 2010

Prove me wrong. He has needed someone to lose on the last day of the season 3/4 times

Overrated stat. Single games don't mean squat especially glorified exhibitions.
Based on that, Les has a stellar 3-3 bowl record in his last 6 seasons. Bowls mean everything.

they beat the only team that beat them 21-0. That said team didnt even cross the 50 yard line. How is that for validation

So by that logic, you shouldn't bother saying LSU backed in in 2007. We also dominated our opponent in that game.
So either shut up about "backing in" in 2007, or acknowledge Saban has done his fair share of the same.

Overrated stat.
How about our OOC wins that year? How else would you like to quantify it?
Even with three top heavy teams, 9 of our 12 teams got to 6 wins or more, and 5 of those 7 beat their opponents. They had to have beaten someone during the year to get bowl eligible since they weren't winning in conference. There is no stat to point to to say the SEC was weak in 2011.

What in the frick? Bama LSU and Arky were 1,2,3 at one point that season, and Arky's only 2 losses were to, you guessed it, the 2 teams in their division who finished 1&2 in the nation.
