none have matched lsu. outside the sec, the disparity is even greater

Sure they have. In the last decade several schools have built stadiums nicer than ours.

Was that announced in his introduction press conference? I’d like to read about that!

There really isn’t this huge gap everyone thinks there is between schools like LSU, Florida, Vanderbilt, UCLA etc
yeah, it's pretty significant. it's been documented and posted on the rant before. but people want to make excuses.

and then i post factual records, get downvoted and told that it's just my opinion.

last year when this came up, people were laughing at the notion that van horn was anywhere near pm. well, he has the same number of cws appearances and a better w/l record over 9 years. then, the goalposts get shifted to "they have the same investment as lsu." but no one sees the excuse making for some reason

I refute the argument that it would as simple as firing Paul and picking a name out of a hat to find a better replacement.
has anyone advocated this?

I accept your surrender.

Tomorrow when you sober up come back and read your posts in this thread. You’ll agree with me then.

Can’t win a title without getting there first. LSU puts themselves in position to win a title just about every year heading into postseason
this came up last season too and it's just not true

once again - national seeds are voted on by a subjective committee and lsu has clearly gotten the benefit of the name brand on more than one occasion. even ben admits this on air. they're like bball tourney seeds. nobody cares about that. what matters is wins and losses or winning percentage. link this please, I’d love to read up on it

You want to disregard the 2009 title but ignore that we just played for the title in 2017. Are there coaches with better win% in the CWS? Yes. Would they definitely come to LSU and do better than PM has? Debatable at best.

The grass isn’t always greener.

Of course the last part was hyperbole on my part but when several posters on this board parrot the theory that we should replace PM with Cannizzaro then well, I apologize for stooping to that.

budget, recruiting, fans, exposure. nobody matches lsu in ALL categories. it's significant.
