Too Late for Spring Game Helmet question?

Did we switch to matte yellow helmets? They looked different

They probably looked different due to daylight and not being under the lights

I wondered the same thing. It looks to me like we did switch to matte, which would be perfectly ok by me.

No way they did this without checking this board, or without Derek launching a major social media campaign.

Yes they did. I like that we actually wore purple instead of the bluer looking purple.

No they are the same helmets. They have never had the “gloss” look just unfinished plastic. Not mate. But not glossed. If that makes sense. They wouldn’t make this change for the spring game if so anyway. This is the equipment and uniforms from last season. It all goes off after spring to be replaced or reconditioned after the game. Everyone if refitted and re assigned in August.
