No.

Considering the entire offense last night was Fournette, Fournette, Fournette and he won't be here next year, all options open.

It was not literal as far as the Month goes idiot. It was figurative.
The point was timechas moved on. Herman's results matter and at this point F. King Alexander looks far more intelligent than you "Hermanistas".

Yes
Saban had his share of bad losses in his first gig.
Herman is still a great offensive mind and LSU attracts great DC's
I absolutely want him, even if they drop a 3rd game this season.

That's all you have in your pop gun?
Let me tell you morons something.
Once there was a coach at a small school who went to play Florida State and he defeated Bobby Bowden on National TV. Based largely on this win the coach at that small school ended up at a MAJOR UNIVERSITY as its' head football coach.
4 years later this coach was fired after becoming the worst head coach that MAJOR UNIVERSITY ever had. It almost destroyed the football program.
Everyone was so sure that this guy was the right coach because he had beaten Bobby Bowden.
That disasterous coach was Curley Hallman and that University was LSU. So forgive me if I don't jump on the Tom Herman bandwagon after his win over Florida State in a meaningless Peach Bowl win where FSU probably didn't care about being in anyway. Beating OU is not impressive either. OU was fortunate to beat Texas Tech yesterday.
Tom Herman is going to lose another game or two this year at Houston and his stock is falling. Thank God you and your ilk are not in charge of this hire. Period.

Houston's lost against Navy was really close and they had several miscues.. and on the road.. to a team who has a tremendous home winning streak.
3 losses in 2 years at Houston with their talent is still impressive.
They beat several ranked teams last season and this season. He knows how to maximize talent very well..
Look at what he does with elite talent as OC at Ohio St since I believe 2011..
I want an elite offensive minded coach or elite defensive minded head coach.. either way I want an x and o's guy who can scheme.. and he can.. he can scheme to beat Bama with equal talent.. and other great defenses like Wisconsin.. he is a mastermind.
As I said, Saban had some bad losses, more losses in his first HC gig.. but he was genius. So is Herman.
Herman + Aranda would be tremendous. I long for LSU to have a coach who can develop QBs and still feature the run..
LSU has shown even by hiring a very average coach in Miles.. they can maintain.. while being established. LSU is ready to win now and as talented as anyone.. I would love to see what he would do with this talent.
I truly don't believe Houston is a talented team AT ALL.. He's done wonders with 3 star Ward though..
He did wonders with every OSU QB.
Miles was never an x and o's coach.. and he was very average.. Okie St was better once he left.. and he was able to maintain with our talent. Imagine and ABOVE AVG coach who is an x and o's guy with this talent.. the sky is the limit..
Unless they drop 4 games, I want Herman. Especially while he is still attainable. LSU will be fine regardless who they hire IMO.. but they will be better with a mastermind.
Coach O is doing great, but he has a loaded team playing very loose. I worry about the future with another lovable coach who has always been just a DLine coach.
With a coach like Urban you never have to worry about offense when offensive coordinators leave.
With a coach like Saban you never have to worry about defense when defensive coordinators leave..
I would like one side of the ball to always be in good hands.. and I believe LSU attracts better DC'S than OC's..
Herman has beaten several ranked teams over the past 2 seasons at Houston with inferior talent.
Looking at a guy like PJ Fleck.. he is undefeated now but he out-recruits his conference and he still has gone.
Fleck's first season as Broncos head coach resulted in a final record of 1–11 (1–7 Mid-American Conference (MAC)). It was the program's worst season since 2004, when the Broncos went 1–10 (0–7 MAC). Injuries, youth and inexperience, discipline, and execution led to poor play.[20] Low-lights included a home loss to Nicholls State, a blowout loss to Iowa, and a homecoming loss to Buffalo. The team improved their play late in the season, with a road win against UMass, and close home losses to in-state rivals Eastern Michigan and Central Michigan.[21]
2014
8-4
2015
Fleck and WMU had the highest-rated recruiting class in the MAC for the third consecutive year.[31]
Yet, WMU finished the 2015 regular season with a record of 7–5 (6–2 MAC). 7 of the 12 opponents ultimately appeared in a bowl game. The 7–5 record earned WMU a bowl berth for the second straight year – the first time in program history that the team made bowl appearances in consecutive seasons.[33] On December 24, 2015, the Broncos defeated the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders in the Bahamas Bowl by a score of 45–31. The bowl win was the first in program history – WMU was previously 0–6 in postseason bowl games.
and this season
Fleck and WMU had the highest-rated recruiting class in the MAC for the fourth consecutive year.
So that guy is out-recruiting his own conference and still dropping multiple games.. and now everyone wants him.. but Herman actually beats ranked teams, but has dropped 3 games with Houston's lack of talent and people have given up..
Saban
1995–1997?—?Beginning in 1995, Saban moderately improved MSU's fortunes, taking the Spartans to minor bowl games (all of which they lost by double-digit margins) in each of his first three seasons. From 1995 to 1997, Michigan State finished 6–5–1, 6–6, and 7–5.
1998?—?On November 7, 1998, the Spartans upset the No. 1 ranked Ohio State 28–24 at Ohio Stadium. However, even after the upset and an early-season rout of then-highly ranked Notre Dame the Spartans finished 6–6, including three last-minute losses featuring turnovers, defensive lapses, and special-teams misplays, and failed to earn a bowl invitation.
1999?—?Saban led the Spartans to a 9–2 season that included wins over Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State. However, the two losses were routs at the hands of Purdue and Wisconsin. Following the final regular-season game against Penn State, Saban abruptly resigned to accept the head coaching position with LSU. Saban's assistant head coach and successor, Bobby Williams, then coached MSU to a Citrus Bowl victory over Florida (teams respond well to instant change at times, doesn't mean it last), giving the Spartans an overall record of 10–2 for the 1999 season. It would be the best season in terms of wins for the Spartans since 1965, and it would see the Spartans reach their highest ranking since the 1966 team.[20] Future NFL head coach Josh McDaniels served as a graduate assistant on Saban's 1999 coaching staff.
Regardless.. I think LSU is fine as long as they hire an above avg coach.. but my goodness would I love to see an above average coach who can scheme with this talent!

Tom Herman has less than 2 years of head coaching experience at the Houston level.
I will go on what I see him actually do and not anything else. Beating a bunch of nobodies means nothing to me. Losing to Navy and getting DESTROYED by SMU matters to me.
It should matter to anyone with a half a pea for a brain.

But O's history as a HC doesn't. You can't make this stuff up.
