I think you are correct in some ways, but what a lot don't understand is that 40 times and long speed are different. Hilton may not have the fastest 40 time, but if he hits his stride, he is elite. Watch him burn DB's, it is always late in the route when the DB cannot maintain speed.

Some guys just don't test as well in the 40, but can burn folks on the field.

Yeah, I don't care about any of that. You're not getting Henderson back into the NFL.

But I think with the right prep, you could get something out of Hilton. Dude absolutely smoked corners in college, he always had a couple steps on the deep routes. And again, that's with the defense knowing that's what he was going to do. If you could somehow polish him into becoming a competent receiver overall, it's like winning the lottery. You take an UDFA, with the potential to become a legit threat.
