guess my point is- while this is unprecedented in our series with MSU, it's not unprecedented in SEC play against mediocre competition, and Miles definitely wasn't immune to this type of game.

Miles loss by 30 twice in 11 years

O loss by 30 in his 11th game

Of course I do - I took philosophy courses in college just like any internet master debater did.

That was a low point for Miles at the tail end of over a decade here. This is game 3 of O's first year as coach. YOu think that's a good thing for O?

You're missing my point, and I never excused O's performance or argued counter to the fact that it was part of Mile's decline. This is an all-encompassing response thread to those ribbing about "Oh man, you miss Miles? lololol" and "I hate to say it, but this wouldn't have happened under Les Miles".

This loss likely doesn't happen with Miles offensive philosophy, even towards the end.

But hey, great thread. Very enlightening.

Miles owned St

Plus Auburn was breaking in a true freshman qb first start

This was worse and that was a better opponent

Just know if Lunchbox is arguing against you it means you're on the right side.

Right side of not making a good point, sure.

You serious, Clark? If anything it makes more sense that it would happen at the end of the Miles era and/or beginning of any new regime.

Remember Dak Prescott in tiger stadium. We had some gimme scores late in game that made it closer than it actually was

We were an extra yard on a pass away from winning that game. Games are 60 minutes. You don't get to make excuses for losses not being bigger when everyone shite on all the games Miles did actually win.

Miles Philosophy:
vs Arkansas L 31-14
@ Ole Miss L 38-17

@ Auburn L 41-7
@ Arkansas L 17-0

Only one of them is as bad as the State loss, and we've already established why it's not all that valid of a comparison.

Man, we ate well. Good times. Except for the game. And the roach motel. And the flat tire. And the trip back with Uncle Rico, the tow truck driver.

But Indian Casinotel was legit. Best decision of the trip.

Truth. I was sitting next to my Moo St friend and he was getting stomach ulcers on our last drive there.

It is only one game. Now if this becomes a pattern (as was the case in Dinardo's last two seasons, Archer's last two seasons, and Hallman's entire regime) then it's a problem. Too early to tell the direction of the season from one bad game.

What about Virginia Tech's 7-48 loss to LSU in 2007 made the Hokies actually believe they were worthy of a NC game appearance that year?
