This is false based on wins and losses. LSU is second only to Bama in the West in that time frame.

It's an us problem too, when fans like you are using them as a barometer for O's performance.

5 sec road games and going 6-2 is better than 4 sec road games and going 6-2

Oemgee! You want FACTS! I mean, they're not difficult to discern. They're public knowledge. You just choose to ignore them.
still waiting .....
I do not give a damn what happened at Ole Miss, since you will likely bring it up to justify your hate, I care what I see know.
He had a rocky start and now seems to be going in the right direction.
I judge on the present.
He was not my 1st choice, but is my coach.. that's reality.
....none of us can change that.

11th isn't good enough. Garbage. We can't "settle" for 11th.

Keep repeating this, and one day it might be true. You got duped by shitty coaching in the first games of the year
Does that include Aranda? His defense got destroyed by Miss St and struggled against Syracuse and Troy.

Sure, but Aranda had a year of solid coaching results to fall back on. But O is the boss last I check, so everything is ultimately on him, correct?

I put "hate" in quotes, because I'm an adult, and I do not consider stating facts as hating.
You may stat facts. But I was talking about O-Haters. Which isn't always about facts.

Neither am I. Nobody said we were dead in the water. The whole thread was about how possibility of finishing #2 in division for the first time in 5 years didn't mean anything and we shouldn't be happy. Well finishing 2nd in division (even in current state of division) is something to be proud of for our team that got shut out by Arky and Bilema a few years back and got dominated by Ole Miss.
Our last 5 years have been worse that this year. Even with a troy loss.

I am wondering, just how far LSU expectations have dropped when 6-3, 4th in the west, 5th or 6th in the SEC, and not ranked in the top 20 is judged to be a demo of a "outstanding coaching job"?
I don't get it, but each to our own.

Please, it took a missed extra point to beat a florida team that just got its shite pushed in by missouri. Lets not pretend like thats some epic win.

Time frame record may make you feel better but this is reality for finishes since 2012.
3rd in '13
5th in '14
4th in '15
3rd in '16

That's actually the saddest part about this. Covering the spread against Alabama and maybe being ranked at the end of the year is all of a sudden considered a successful year. Go back a couple years and the expectation was the we contend for a conference championship..

And yet no team outside of Bama has done better. I know yall hate when facts get in the way of downplaying where the program was, but the numbers are what they are.

Your problem is that you still think of LSU like you did 10 years ago. We aren't far. but we aren't elite

11th most winningest program of all time.
3 national titles.
14 conference titles.
yeah, just some run of the mill program.
None of which has to do with 2013-2017.
Your response has nothing to do with my post.

But why was Aranda's defense so bad? Did O come in and change the way Aranda coached?
