I am just proud of the guys who played last night and kept fighting. That will pay dividends for them and us down the road. It’s like the movie the 300!! Against all odds, they still went out fighting.
Amen, brother.

Quitter List:
1. Stingley
Stingley had an injury that required surgery.
If indeed it is a Lisfranc injury (as a number of people have speculated), that's not something you come back from quickly. We probably won't know specifics until the NFL combine.
Kris Fulton had a Lisfranc injury in 2018, had surgery, missed the last few games that year and still wasn't ready in spring 2019. Travis Etienne had a similar injury in preseason and got shut down for the year by the Jags.

Speaking of acting like a woman. Aren't you the guy who claims to have gone to the game and posted on TD the entire time.

He hauled his trailer all the way from Sabine Parish to Houston just to melt on his phone the whole game

Glad you are able to admit it. Seek help

We are about to get several transfers in. Are they quitters?
Posted on 1/5/22 at 9:46 am to lsu2006
At least he bought that trailer with his money.

If they quit in season yeah they are

quote:Okay Karen, no one said anything about actual war. Coaches refer to a football game as a battle ALL THE TIME. It is a battlefield, Karen. I'm sure you never played.
And lol at the losers that want to equate a game to actual war.

Talk about sad

can't make a darn passing grade
This is the biggest head scratcher for me personally. If a dumbass such as myself can graduate from LSU with a 3.0, surely these football players with general studies majors can make a fricking “C” grade.

People like Clark and Stingley (who was already injured) who had the opportunity to make 1st round money, I give them a pass on this game. It was a bowl with nothing at stake to gain for them. The NFL Draft day 2-3 players who opted out missed the chance to improve their stock and could have helped their teammates finish the season on a positive note.
Those day 2-3 players will improve their draft stock a lot more at a combine than they will in a game against Kansas State. Presumably they opted out to start working on combine drills/numbers. They actually have a lot more to gain than the 1st rounders because it is make or break for them versus first rounders who are getting drafted and making great money regardless.
I am not a fan of people stopping during the season (quitting or opting out or whatever you want to call it), but the day two and day three guys have the ability to really improve their stock if their combine numbers pop. Hard to argue from a professional standpoint with them for wanting a five week head start to focus solely on those.

To the "Quitters"
Good first post. Most agree with this. We have created a generation of softies (not all) who whimp out at the first appearance of adversity and opposition. I hate losing but was proud of the men who played last night.
For the rest of you who quitters..Hit the road jack..and dont come back!!

yep quitters just like Buckeyes Wrs that opted out and Buckeyes O lineman opting out . NIL , this stupid 4 team playoff needs to change or unless u are in the CFP LSU will be playing with Wrs at QB and what not . College football is no pro football 100%. mr Bobalina Mr. Bob Dobalina

I’m surprised that a section 8 welfare queen like p&g was able to get a ticket to the game. Guess texas bowl was so desperate they were handing out tix to SNAP beneficiaries

its just a game that is being played by kids. If you are this emotionally involved in a game that is being played by kids then i recommend you step back from it for a minute and reevaluate your life.
