and you believe they took action due to letters written by fans??
I also see the call as being wrong;however, I simply feel LSU got beaten by a better team. LSU was worn out in the 4th quarter-this was the result of the game plan of the Alabama coaches. The game did not come down to that one call. It's nice(and easy) to have someone or something to blame when something goes wrong. Generally the hard thing is to define the actual problem. INGRAM ran past us- Jones did his damage as well . They beat us. We must take our loss with class and a resolve to do better and get better.

How is wanting the correct calls made not "losing with class" ?
I told every Alabama I came across in Tuscaloosa after the game that they played very well. Two very good football teams battling to the end. I congratulated them. I also told them that all week long, as an LSU fan playing on the road against their stout defense, all I wanted was a chance to win the game in the fourth quarter.
Our chance was taken from us, and there is no other way to slice it.
