Booing the refs is fine....I'll make that distinction. I don't even boo the opposing team when they run out of the tunnel.
These kids are student athletes. They don't deserve to be booed in any circumstance.

can someone give me a legitimate reason why booing a player on the team you root for is ok? Please explain what good comes out of it.

Shame! Shame! Shame on YOU--fans who boo LSU players. You are trapped in 2007 and think booing will have the same effect as the apology did to the Gator nation. We are always proud of the Tigers win or lose. You should wear the scarlet letter A across your chest, move and pull for the other side next week. Or re-think your spiteful actions better still and count your blessings that you are able to attend the games----it's a privilege some will never experience.

exactly we have major problems if our qb is that fragile. IMO lee isn't the fragile, he did great at aubarn in a more hostile place than some of the fans left booing you. There is an easy way to stop the boo's, make better reads and show improvement. Its not fair to expect lee to play lights out every time but when you are going to school for free maybe just improve. Im not ready to give up on Lee but the people crying about him being booed need to get thicker skin. Of course his teammates don't wont him to be booed but i highly doubt it really hurts lee's confidence, the interceptions,silly fumbles and bad reads are what hurts confidence not some fan booing you.
was it right to boo him? not really but frustration boiled over last night and les honestly didn't help things by saying JJ would see time. It was just a bad situation all the way around, you haven't played well all night, the coach said we would see JJ at some point and we hadn't then throw in last week pick 6's pretty much cost us the game.
