While I agree with this. The unfortunate problem is the Negatigers now have a reason to post on here once again.

It happens in all sports...football, baseball, boxing, ect... When, for one reason or another, everything falls apart and one team/opponent doesnt show up and gets dominated.

I don't generally endorse the coincidental predestination theory of sport, as if the loss was the result of a confluence of factors beyond anyone's control. We were humiliated on Monday night because our coaching staff was outwitted on just about every level. They adapted, we didn't. They had a viable plan, we didn't. Our coaches were de-pantsed on national TV by Saban in what was arguably the biggest game in a half a century. Sadly, that's just the truth of what happened. We didn't lose as a result of some excusable misfortune.

And frankly, the last week has been very frustrating, for the following reasons:

(1) Lose to the top in-state recruit to Bama;

(2) Fail to even compete in the national title game;

(3) Losing Claiborne and Brockers to the NFL;

(4) Boone considering transfering as a result of frustration with the offensive system;

(5) Shepard considering declaring for the NFL for the same reasons;

(6) Four star OT Miller decommits and opts for divisional rival Auburn instead.

These are aggravating occurences. The end of the program? No. But understandably irritating nonetheless. The rational reaction to these developments is disappointment and anger.

As for supporting the team, I will do what I have always done come 2012: I'll renew my season tickets, organize and participate in elaborate tailgates, fly around the country cheering for the Tigers at home and away games, don as much purple and gold as budget and good taste permit, scream too much, drink too much, hope too much, raise hell with the best college football fanbase on earth, refrain from booing (I neve do), pay some ludicrous price for a bowl game ticket, book hotels, cheer again, and repeat. None of this, however, will dim my disgust at how we performed on Monday night against a most bitter rival. With history on the line, the first perfect season in half a century in the offing, we took the field and - with apologies for my harsh language - shat ourselves.

I hear you buddy, I have been venting my arse off... If you need to rant more, go for it!! I am just saying... at some point, we have to move on.. continuing to beat CLM down and think we can change anything is only going to lead to more frustration.... after a while its like

I know the game left a bad taste in everyone's mouth, but going into the game, Bama was favored by 2.5 points so to think a win was guaranteed is crazy. I understand it was the fashion in which we lost, but it is tough to beat a team twice in one year and as much fault as there is to pass around, I think we should give Bama more credit that we are giving them. They were ready for this game and came out and was clearly the better team on Monday night.

We are still a damn good team and us and Bama could have easily beat anyone else in the country.. It was a bad night, but I said before the season that I thought next year would be our year, which could easily be the case. Everyone needs to settle down, realize we finished 13-1, won the SEC and have a lot to look forward to in 2012.

Again the loss isn't the issue!!! It's how bad he,his OC, and his gameplan were.

I keep seeing this. What the hell we were going against the #1 defense they just planned better. We had poor offensive line and QB play. it is time to move on.

I totally agree, collectively we have sliced, diced, chopped and thrown out every possible theory to make any sense of what went wrong. Each and everyone of us know that LSU is an awesome team and Monday night did not reflect any aspect of who they were or what they were capable of doing. Even though we are have ranted on here at one time or another, the positive side of that is that LSU has one of the largest fanbase there is and we have one of the best programs there is. I'm sure some schools would love it if they were in our position.
