Been around a few rehaps many times and met plenty recovering addicts and many(mainly the younger ones under 20 ) where there because of pot. And many of the older ones there for heroin, pain pills ,coke and the like got started by smoking just alittle weed. I wish TM the best, stay sober brother and surround yourself with sober people for quite a while. Cause if you get round them old dogs your gonna get fleas again.

Ignorance you say?
Sorry buddy. But pot aint physically/mentally addictive like you think it is.
Really?? Where do you get your information? The National Institute on Drug Abuse disagrees with you.
"Long-term marijuana abuse can lead to addiction; that is, compulsive drug seeking and abuse despite the known harmful effects upon functioning in the context of family, school, work, and recreational activities. Estimates from research suggest that about 9 percent of users become addicted to marijuana; this number increases among those who start young (to about 17 percent) and among daily users (25-50 percent).
Long-term marijuana abusers trying to quit report withdrawal symptoms including: irritability, sleeplessness, decreased appetite, anxiety, and drug craving, all of which can make it difficult to remain abstinent. These symptoms begin within about 1 day following abstinence, peak at 2-3 days, and subside within 1 or 2 weeks following drug cessation."

Like I said before, ignorance.

What if he has mental issues associated with addiction?
Then he would be like every other person with the disease of addiction. As a matter of fact substance abuse is listed in the DSM-IV as a mental health/psychological disorder. Its not a coincidence that rehabs are usually in or considered psychiatric hospitals.

I see my boy VC is still at it. What happened to your sources? Why the change to "it's just an opinion"?

That's good info. I think with any addiction, proper counseling and guidance is key to beating it.

My stance on this issue hasn't changed since the news came out. In fact, it's only been strengthened. This thread is evidence. I think it's best for both Tyrann and LSU to part ways. It is nothing against him at all--in fact, he's probably my favorite LSU football player of all time. And I have said many times that he might just be the best football player I've ever seen. I hope he goes on to amazing things both in the NFL and afterwards. However....
We have what at the very least is a national championship caliber--and what may turn out to be the best team in school history--and all you Nancies (I'm looking at you, Doc
) can't get his dick out of your mouths long enough to realize it. LSU plays a game in 2 weeks, and frick Tyrann, and frick you all (but mostly you all) because I can't read a goddamn thing about the dudes who are actually going to go out there and play the fricking game!!!!!
He may well be back in the purple and gold next year (I think he'll be in the NFL, but will cheer the shite out of him if he's here), but we a season to play before we'll see him play another down. What could be a great season. A miraculous season. So spit his dick out of your collective mouth long enough so that we can talk about and enjoy it. By damn!!!

Ok...... were they addicted to both? Also, pretty much all of them had a fall from grace.
Many people are addicted to many different drugs at once, anything they can get their hands on. Yeah, they all had a fall from grace, which is exactly what TM is having, or am I mistaken?

Name calling? Wow. I'm so hurt.

Wow. Alcohol alters and impairs your brain.
Not like heroin. And add that on top of the effect meth has on your nervous system it would've been pretty obvious that something was up.

Snorting addies is NOT common. Coke is more common than that shite.
I certainly hope "or not" =/= "ARE not".
