He loves Les Miles too, and he knows he let him down the most.

Great for TM!

Happy to see him moving on with his life. I think it's hilarious that I was mentioned multiple times here. All I did was say what I heard, and pass it on to other football people. It's all good. It was all discussion within a FORUM. No crow or anything to eat here. I was just as much wrong as southernelite.

All good and hope the kid does well!

"The Sports Whisperer" - John Lucas

I tried posting this yesterday after a friend of a friend said he was w Lucas and TM in Houston... I wonder if he is actually enrolling into a drug rehab facility or if he will just be working w JL in his rehabilitation program?

LINK

He has helped out countless individuals. Just to name a few:

Michael Beasley - (just got back in NBA)
Tristian Thompson
Baron Davis
DeAndre "Lingerie" Jordan
Thaddeus Young
Jonny Flynn
TJ Ford
Blake Griffin
He mentored Kobe Bryant and Lebron James while they were in highschool
Dexter Manley
Wilson Chandler
RJ Smith
Seth Mannon (formal LSU place kicker)
Mike James
Zach Peters
Renardo Sidney
Kendrick Perkins
Gary Johnson
Big Baby Glen Davis
Johnny Jolly - Packers DT

He also works with many overseas players.

How will not going to school at all this semester impact him from an academic standpoint - I thought you had to have so many hours towards a degree to stay eligible.

I know football is not Tyranns focus right now but does this program he has enrolled in cater to athletes specifically? Do they somehow allow the athletes to train and keep themselves in shape or is this just a lot of counseling?

I think IF true that he is going to rehab it may be for emotional stability issues that he's coping with by using drugs...

Fame and the public spotlight "the fishbowl" as they say impacts people in different ways. Miles has kept him out of the spotlight as best he could... But it wasn't enough and the pressure of the national spotlight 24/7 was more pressure than he could handle.

That's my personal theory.

I guess I really just do not understand addiction.

Test your addiction- if you can stop any of your behaviors for 12 weeks- then maybe its not an issue.

I have a close friend who tried this- he drank 1-2 beers every day- guess what He could not stop

Addiction does not always mean excess- it does mean the inability to stop- and unless you have been truly addicted- you have no idea how difficult it is

Just ask someone who smokes cigs

Come again? I have never had any inside information on what is going on with TM, or what he might do. That was all Redd, and I think redd will even attest to that. I have strictly supplied information from an LSU perspective....period. I have said LSU dismissed him, expected him to transfer, and does not want him back on the team. Period. Nothing has changed in that regard, and I still 100% stick by that. Now, I have given my OPINION, and stated as such, that TM should go play d2, keep himself clean, and get drafted 2nd round next Spring.

Called it earlier this week

called what exactly? wow....78,000 posts and you still have not matured in your thought process. It is no big shocker if in fact he is not going to school this fall. In fact, Redd alluded to this on several occassions. It was pretty much a fifty/fifty chance. The only one I've read on here with any credibility concerning the TM perspective, was Redd. Seriously......wow....

As far as if he actually is in a rehab....if he is then MY OPINION is that either this is a public relations ploy (which isn't a terrible move) or there was a more serious substance problem than simply weed. In the end, if this is true, his advisors thought it would not help him in any way to go D1 this year....and that is pretty much what Redd has said all along. While I think going D1, keeping clean, and getting paid was the better move.....when you stop and think about it...how much trouble you think TM would get into if he suddenly had a substantial amount of money.....I don't think that would end well. I wish him the best....and have been ready to move on to the current LSU team, and the current players.

If smoking weed is a serious enough event to have your scholarship taken & football career damaged. WHY are people surprised that he can/is going to rehab for it?

i know you're just speculating, but it's only weed... and yes VC, everyone is giving you shite because you were trying to give off all your opinions as facts, and when people tried asking you for sources to your info, you were always vague and wouldn't directly answer people... and now that he's not transferring, and taking the necessary route to get back on LSU's football team, you're still carrying on with your act
