I would agree if he wants to amount to anything. But to be fair, He has known the rules for a while now and could have found some help before THIS event happened.I think the WHOLE HONEY Badger thing got into his head.IMO.

I think Miles does deserve some kudos for doing the right thing.

Miles didn't have a choice. When he had a choice, it seems he "let things slide" more than he should have.

For example, JJ should have never been on the team last year. RP should have been kicked off much sooner. There is a pattern 90% of the posters here are refusing to see.

Blame the coach and staff??? Really..

Like we know what "our" own kids do 24-7....

Like I raised my 2 sons.... The choices are yours to make... just be prepared for the consquences....

I think it comes down to Miles' fatal flaw. He's TOO loyal. That manifests itself in times like this, or games like last year's SEC champ/NC, or all of 2009.

He wants to be their "friend" and to be liked by the players and for that, he gets taken advantage of.

Sometimes as a leader, you just have to be a dick. In today's case, the school acted and Miles' complied.

If JJ isn't on the team we don't win 9-6 and make it to New Orleans... Catch 22. I have no problems with the way Miles handles the discipline of his players. Let's be honest 99% of them do not have much of a future outside of football so why do we try and put them on a pedastal and make them into the role models that they clearly are not.

I agree, it's in the compliance department's hands ultimately.

True, the pattern is that college kids, even high profile athletes, frick up all the time. It's not the coaches fault.
