Does Lacrosse have a fanbase?

Apology accepted. Hope he learns from this and comes out a better man for it.

Yes. They also have athletic funding provided by football revenue.

You're exactly right. Without fans there is no revenue and no footabll.

Perhaps a sit down with the Dean of the Business School would enlighten him on the tremendous marketability of the 'Honey Badger' when he moves to the NFL - provided he keeps his shite tight while at LSU.

Academically. You don't think we brought these football players here to boost our academic prestige do you?

Nothing?
No remorse at all?
Yes, the whole team was represented by the unity counsel when they apologized for everything you listed. I know you can't see past the hate you have for JJ but it was a team issue and it was apologized for. Sorry it wasn't up to the standards required to appease your ego.

Threadkiller here, dood, I just spit orange juice all over my fricking laptop when I read your signature .....If this team goes 14-0, they oughta build a fountain statue of a giant Les Miles pissing into a groveling Nick Saban's mouth and put it at the entrance of TS. - TigerPanzer

God speed TM7...But your team mates must still go out onto the football field and fight the monster, without you.
And they will need your best wishes more then ever.

Not even worth the effort dealing with that boob.
Anyone who thinks a donation constitutes some form of ownership being conferred upon the Donor is clueless. Donation = gift, nothing more, nothing less.
IMO, it is a classic case of a fan juxtaposing their emotional investment made in support of their team with $ spent for tickets and somehow that entitles them to a phantom ownership interest, thusly becoming an "investor".
Personally, that kind of skewed logic escapes me.

Awwwww geeeze. More of this metrosexual sensitive apology crapola?
What is it with you people with the apology thing? Are all of you so fu cking sensitive? I'll bet all of you go shoe shopping with your girl friends, those that have them anyway.
"Yes dear. Anything you say dear. I'm sorry dear. I won't go out and play golf today because I'm devastated, just devastated because some LSU players are suspended, dear. If I don't hear an apology soon, I'll die, just die."

More than jj did really did y'all go there. First off jj didn't say much cause he never has dumbazz. He's a quiet guy that is enjoying be a college football player, that will never play again past this year. Now TM7 is covered head to toe in the media all day and he posts on twitter and Facebook hourly. He is the most dynamic player in college football. Therefore with all of his media attention that he brought upon him self through social networking, it was only a matter of time till he had to do something. Go read his Facebook he is calling all of "us" haters. And so is his family all over the worlds biggest social networking site.don't get me wrong I am a huge TM7 fan but get off jjs back he has lead through some of the most exciting years we have had.

I've been reading a lot of threads lately. Spending a lot more time on the Rant. I'm starting to learn something: No one likes TigrLee
Didn't quite understand why until this thread

Disagree. The sport would be very different in nature (much more an amateur sport) without the fanbases and the various revenue streams that college athletic depts. enjoy today, but the sport would still be played by University Teams - just like volleyball, gymnastics, tennis, golf, etc.
I'm not advocating a change by any stretch of the imagination, I love the heights to which college football has risen, the passion of my fellow Tiger fans, and the easy viewing access out here on the West Coast that has resulted from the successes that the LSU Tigers have enjoyed over the past decade.
However, even though I don't believe that TM7 owed the fans an apology (his teammates - yes), it was a solid PR move on his part to publicly apologize.
