We finished 3rd and that's the bottom line. Sorry if that upsets u.

Hellooooooooooooooo.....it's 2010 and not 2008 and we r coming off a 5-3 SEC record and not a 3-5 SEC record. Please get over 2008.

Why not? We had 9 last yr. Why would getting one more be so impossible?

U need to more postive because bad vibes from here could cost us a win or 2.

Tell that to Les Miles. One fricking player got kicked off the team and it's a 3-year (and counting) rebuilding process because mysteriously both lines and a bunch of other shite were somehow turned into shite by that one player leaving. Get the frick over it and start doing you job, Les.

Because we lost a lot of starters off of last year's team, kept the bad coaches from last year, and have an established history of failing to develop younger players to step in and perform when the veterans leave.

Well, that'll still mean we're doing less damage than Les Miles.

Not to mention that this year's schedule is a great deal tougher than last year's.

so the defense wasn't part of the team as a whole in '08, or the offense part of the whole team in '09... if one part of the team fails miserably that affects the team as a whole.

Nutty, I didn't read your post because my BS meter started going wild on the 1st line.

Even without reading it I know it tells me LM needs to be fired now because he is running the LSU football program into the ground---right?

Is that the same LM u claimed to be a better coach than NS not too long ago? Were u wrong then or r u wrong now and why should I pay attention to anyone who admits to be wrong 50% of the time about the same coach.

Stupid people don't have the ability to understand the simplicity you just posted.

Until LSU proves it can bet Bama, UF and Ole Miss again, they will be not be considered the cream of the SEC

The team is where it is. Crappy defense one year, crappy offense the next. I am predicting 8 wins which may even be a stretch until I see the offense against a top caliber defense.

Which is infinitely more important than the two games we won after that, right?

How stupid are LSU fans?

No offense to those of us who have a brain cell but some of the crap you people come up with is ridiculous.

Basically, all of his wins are because of Saban's recruits or just sheer dumb luck but all of his losses are completely and totally his fault so basically Les Miles is 0-15 and Nick Saban won 2 NCs, got it.

We should just promote Wilkerson and fire the rest of the coaching staff until we can get Saban to come back with Bill Belechek as an OC and Jon Gruden as a position coach.

Also, Derek Dooley as recruiting coordinator and Urban Myer as conditioning and QB coach.

That should do it.

I don't see vast improvement ahead. I do think our defense will be improved over last year. We still have Jefferson as our starting quarterback with very little behind him. How good will the o-line be? Too many questions, too tough a schedule.

Apparently in 2008 and 2009, yes. 2010 is still to come, but that will be the third year. If the rebuilding is complete, then it will have been a 3-year process. If not, then we're still counting.

I think Les Miles final grade should be this season. 8-8 in conf last 16 games. No more excuses for Miles. Two junior QBs. Someone is accountable for the product on the field this Fall. Who is it going to be ? Do we right the ship and place well in the SEC West/division or do we struggle with Fla, Alabama, and another team (s). Do we have a winning conf. record this year or do we just get by with an anemic offense that just gets by again. This FAll is the final exam in my opinion. I am tired of the endless debates on Miles. Either he puts up this year and gets his coaches to get the players ready to play...or we need to acknowledge we need to go in a new direction. Forget Miles stupidity or his Wants. He has no wants...he makes millions of dollars. Hopefully someone powerful in TAF will collude with others and right the ship if Miles fails this year.

you count as well as you evaluate head coaches. if we win the west then that's two years down years.
