you're exactly right, it't not like they missed from insde the 25. they missed some fg's that not a lot of kickers would make.

I would expect nothing less from the gumps...
but what you have to consider, suppose Bama made one of those FG's? Well, can't we also suggest that possibly LSU would have returned the kickoff for a TD?? It is always a 'what if'...

I'll admit Bama missed a few opportunities...
to recruit a kicker who could actually fricking kick.
The game came down to special teams, and their's wasn't championship caliber. And that is all on their coaching staff. So screw them.

Then the game has a completely different dynamic. Perhaps we make some different play calls or take more risks that pay off. None of this shite happens in a vacuum and is exactly the point why the flaw was not with the kicker, but with Saban's overall strategy.
