Jayden Daniels broke PFF records for deep pass accuracy. We were beyond spoiled.

He didn't do this in 2022 though. That's a fact. In fact, he was very poor at it, when he actually did try. I believe that had a lot to do with BK preaching ball protection in 2018. Nuss was good in the past on long balls, but he was also hitting some better recs that had more separation. He has started 6 games in his career now.

Especially when it's 1v1. Lacy and Daniels have the size to win those.

but honestly, they haven't shown that toughness as of yet...in fact, Lacy looked like he was half assing it yesterday.

5 catches 107 yrds later....

Lacy is 3rd among SEC WR's on first down catches (19), and t2 in reTDs (5), playing out of position a lot of the snaps. He is an elite slot WR when presented with that opportunity. Forced to play more outside this year.

Nuss tries to throw a perfect pass every time. Modern football does not require that against single coverage. You have to make the ball catchable and let your elite WR and the rules that favor them make the play. He will learn.

Your inability to have a discussion without calling people names says a lot about you.

They are open to the point where 1st Rd QBs should have several TDs otherwise

Hes half-assing it. This play shows it perfectly. Not only is he further down field than any other player, he then lets 2 defenders pass him (S. Ala. defenders, btw), without laying a finger on them. Which ends up with Durham missing out on an obvious TD. But of course this was the white QBs fault, amirite? Not the WR taking this play off?

Lacy did not think that guy would catch him, especially when Durham cut back to the right sideline. . He did not half arse it, he was actively looking for people coming up the back that could catch Durham

But hey, you seem to be narrative-driven that the WR's are the issue every time the offense performs poorly.

I don't mind players making mistakes when they are hustling. To say Lacy gave up is just a lie. He just didn't find the right guy to block

he just needs to play a complete game, giving 100% effort the whole time. We need him to play a complete game in order for us to have a chance to beat the better teams. He hasn't done that yet.
