Our linebackers aren’t good. We thought coming into the season that it was a strength, but it simply isn’t. None of them have the LB instincts that white possessed. Go back and watch the Ole Miss game. Phillips consistently shot the the wrong gap or got sucked up into the line on those big runs. Chassion is basically a Danielle Hunter at this point.

Half the game is defense, and we need both to be truly great. Remember, we'll likely play Clemson and/or Ohio State in the players. They have monster offenses, and we'll need our defense to step up.
There's nothing wrong, you know, about saying our offense is spectacular but our defense needs work.
Just saying "but we're 10-0!" doesn't solve the problem
10-0 is great, but we need to go 15-0, and we'll need our defense for that when we play the best teams in the nation.

The “this is college football now” people clinging to any excuse for Dave’s performance are so stupid.
Rich Rod was running the same offense he’s run for 20 years last Saturday. Dave was woefully unprepared for it.
