Maybe Kim should turn coaching duties over to you. Velez is not playing for a reason, she plays poor defense. Kim trusts Poa at PG. No way Velez is better than Poa.

In one of the blow out wins, she fouled out in a matter of 6/7 minutes on the court. She is nowhere near SEC caliber right now. Can she still red shirt?

Probably not

But Velez and Kent were always kids who were gonna need until years 2 or 3 before making the impact LSU needs. LSU probably only expected Williams and ADR to get the minutes year one. The loss of Smith and Poole is just massive and you can't replace proven experience like that.

Like I mentioned before I'd expect Kim to be much more judicious and fill up her rosters more moving forward and attack the portal a bit more

If Angel leaves this year, Kim will need to go into the portal and get a tall, experienced post player like Angel who is aggressive on the boards and can score a lot of points, double doubles every game. She has been the most important player on our team the past 2 years. She will be a huge loss.

Kent has shown she can provide a few quality minutes off the bench! Wish she was given more of a chance.

Velez is a point guard

When we’re up by 20, can’t hurt to put her in a few minutes, can it?
