He currently has 1 more career sack than DJ Welter. Not exactly high output for a pash rush extrordinaire. I hope he pans out after 3 years of hype. Now is the time.

I just finished watching the game because we were out of town last weekend. Chaisson was all over the field. Just because he doesn’t rack up sacks doesn’t mean he isn’t effective. Aranda drops him back in coverage a ton with this zone scheme he’s been running with the front 7. He had a bunch of plays where he pushed Love out of the pocket and caused an errant throw. One of them was the INT by Delpit.

Agree. Long overdue. He can improve his pay for next year by playing like a beast.

Couldn’t have said it better my dude. Agree with the poster about him doing more than just rushing the passer but if he doesn’t start getting to the quarterback more he’ll start becoming way more bark than bite. He’s can be an absolute game changer for us but he just hasn’t done that yet.

I think we'll see Aranda running more stunts this weekend. He will find a way to get Chaisson going. The defense looked like it was waking up last week.

It's looking like he will need to return another year if he wants to go higher in the draft. So far he has been slightly above average at best.

He hasn't been 100% healthy all year and still looks like he doesn't trust the stability in the knee when changing direction. Lateral mobility just hasn't been there yet. When he regains that he will be special.

I agree with other posters that he definitely affects the game whether he is sacking the QB or not.

But I also agree he needs to get home and force those negative plays to be an all American level player. The talent is there though and he shows it on the field

He will man. I think our whole defense is going to play like they're capable this game. These games are why you come to LSU. They're gonna bring it man, and they finally know they have an offense backing them too so that takes alot of pressure off of a defense.

In actuality he hasn’t played a lot of football. You said three years. He played a back up role as a freshman, half of a game last year and three games this year. So basically he’s played three and a half games when he was a starter. Think about it.

yeah last year he had 1 sack in a half a game vs. Miami

So far this year he started against Georgia Southern , a triple option team, and had a Sack and a 5 hurries vs Texas while being held a lot.

He played situationally last game, but Love was not holding onto the ball long.

He aint healthy, he gets held all the time.

He comes out with his titties show'n takes a cup of water from the UT sideline. Gets behind a mic and talks the talk.

Time to walk the walk K'Lavon. If there's a beast in there, turn it loose.

He predicted 18 sacks, he needs to have great games.

2019 Stats 11 tot, 6 solo, 5 ast, 1 sack.

I want to see him go off don't you?

Exactly. His name on instagram is “sack guru” and I’m not really sure why.

He was good, but if you are going to run your mouth in public before a game, you had better back it up. His play did not match the talk. He needs to take it up a notch this week and get to that level.

He was good. he ran his mouth and played well. He got a sack, pressured the QB all while fighting off clothelines.
