Also need an ace pitcher. My wife, who played college ball as a pitcher, takes apart their pitching motion and how it screws them up.

We are all disappointed with the series. If bats return we have a chance. This guy is a tool.

Biggest need is Amanda Sanchez right now. Something is up with her. Ever since she won every national award after that SC series she has been in a huge hole.

They have one Title in 2012. They haven't been in the CWS since 2016.
They have a historically good program.

Florida has two titles and three runner up finishes. They had won the SEC 5 out of the last 7 years yet they have had a down year for them in 2019.

Torina has done a helluva job.

Typical knee jerk LSU fan: Fire the coach.

This team isn’t getting out of regionals unless they find a way to turn it around. I just don’t understand how Jekyll and Hyde they are. One minute they’re taking a series from nationally ranked power Florida, but the next, they’re losing to teams like Arkansas and Baylor.

They lost a series to Nationally Ranked Arkansas and a game to Baylor..... I agree that they are in a funk, but they only lost two SEC series this season and that has incited this dumbass thread. However, I would rather y’all be mad at this than start another thread about DeAngelo.

This isn't some new phenomenon, this happens every single year.

I think torina is a good coach and LSU still has the chance to go far this post season but I don't understand why every single year we go through major cold spells/collapses. This happened also when we had Jaquish, Bell and those other stud players. We shouldn't be going through such sluggish periods like this. Off weekend is understandable or just one bad game during the weekend is acceptable but to go through a 3 week stretch of horrendous ball is not acceptable.

First off, Sunseri seems to be getting better which is good. Her offense gave her absolutely zero support this weekend and committed multiple errors which is how Alabama got their runs. Wickersham seems like she is back to the pitcher she was for most the year.

Offensively Amanda Sanchez,Amanda Doyle, Thornhill are struggling really badly right now. Amanda Sanchez is one of the biggest issues. LSU's offense goes when the power in the middle is going, when they go silent, LSU struggles to gain momentum to put up runs. Andrews not being productive at the top of the lineup was another issue this weekend.

After watching some today LSU needs about 3 or 4 280 lbs heffers like Bama who can just stick the bat out and knock it out the park.

Beth is just lacking 1 dominating picture if she can at least get this team back to the softball world series that would be remarkable.

Pitching is just not up to the standard it was last year, but that is expected losing Walljasper and Hoover.

Sunseri and Wickersham were fine this weekend but the offense gave them zero support. Gorsuch was really the only blemish in the circle. Defense was sloppy between the errors and passed balls.

Offense is the bigger concern for the last two weeks. Amanda (both) is struggling and we aren't driving in runners when they are in scoring position. What made LSU so special early on this season was Shemiah, Sunseri and Amanda were driving in runs and hitting extra base hits.

Agreed. Batting always goes in a slump before the SEC tourney and every year they come alive in the post season. Fans need to relax and not blame coaching. This team has significantly improved in AVGs and HRs from last year.

Pitching is definitely not what it was with the Hoover/Walljasper duo but I think with Sunseri being a soph and Wickersham a fresh there is light ahead in the future.

I think the bama series will wake the tigers up before the postseason.
