He's a talented player, but the Simmons saga really drug him down. I definitely thought he'd get drafted, though.

He drug himself down by trying to be a one man show when he knew scouts were in attendance to see Simmons.

Yeah he wanted to be the man when clearly Simmons was. He drug the team down in the process and people noticed that.

Agreed, everyone knew Simmons was the real deal coming in. If he had been on board, his draft stock probably rises. Instead he was out to prove he's the man which cost him.

After TQ stepping over the end line TWICE in the last two minutes vs UK two seasons ago, I would not have him on my pro team.
I know he had some nice games.
Mitch Richmond stepped out of bounds in the last two minutes of two different 2nd round playoff games that were decided in the last few seconds and the Warriors dumped him. The replacement was not as good, but they tried. They got the #3 in the first round. it did not quite pan out.
I get trying though.

TQ was a cancer in the locker room. After Hornsby went down it was over for the most part.What's the point of playing in the NIT Simmons didn't want to get hurt at that point and who could blame him.

I think TQ knew this was a possibility, shows how terrible the relationship was at LSU that he was willing to take this risk

He had to have known there was a good chance. If not he was taking advice from the wrong people. It's honestly better for us without him next year. We aren't going anywhere with or without him so getting rid of any locker room problems is good for a young team trying to rebuild.
