It would be pretty bad for them. I think it will reset the balance of power in our favor for yrs to come.

Geez, now we have to check every board on TD.com before we post something?

People need to chill with the "Germans" stuff. Its getting out of control. Not everyone lives on this website 24/7.

I made the post on the SEC Rant, that post listed the 3 reason Brando chose LSU to win.

This post Brando describes the consequences of the loss for Alabama, related posts but different focuses.

It would indeed be the ultimate indignity. Losing to Miles twice in a row has already shattered their hopes that LSU is a program in decline. In '09 it looked as though 'Bama had pulled off the ultimate coup by "stealing" LSU's source of success, Nick Saban. In '09 'Bama looked poised to march through the SEC unfettered year after year with their Baby Bear leading the way. Then came Miles to alter reality and prove that LSU isn't going to let that happen.

Win or lose in January, 'Bama knows that any championship in the foreseeable future is going to have to be earned against LSU.

I would bet the vast majority of 'germans' posters are <17 y/o and live on the net because no girl will look at their pimply faces.

I think the pressure on Bama is much greater than LSU.

Used to listen to him years ago, and he had a thing for Arkansas at the time, and always downplayed LSU.

Brando may love Louisiana, but I don't think he'd ever be confused with a LSU homer.

The Ultimate Indignity Bowl

I like it.
