Yes - some of the companies involved with putting on events at the Dome are being called in to assist with getting the Dome ready. They are still working on securing hotel rooms.

NO.'s pumps are not all working, NO.'s floods too easy right now because idiot city officials focused on statute removals instead of the immediate needs of the people, like pumping stations..

It should be the Dome. Why take another chance with the rain in Tiger Stadium.

So you can predict there's no chance of lightning with a tropical storm near? The dome makes more sense it's neutral and safe from the weather elements not sure why you are mad.

Friend of mine is Superdome security. He says he got a call asking if he could work Saturday for LSU game. They are trying to see if they can get personnel they need.

YES!! I live in Provo & am literally on the phone with Delta changing my flight from Houston to NOLA!! I figure even if the game is cancelled I can still visit family.

Re hotels, that is Southern Decadence wkend & many hotels are booked solid. But can you imagine those poor BYU folks when they see the Quarter packed with those....free spirits? When they see their first BDSM couple walking down the street?

Yup. I booked a room in Nola yesterday just in case. I went to book another one a bit ago and the price for the same room doubled. It's definitely moving to the dome.
