This is way off topic, but expansion talk made me curious. I graduated in 2005 and I have yet to be back in BR. Did they ever turn the commuter lot on south stadium next to the police station into a multilevel parking structure?

will the upper deck in the South trap more noise in the stadium? It seems as the though the student section noise is directed towards it and would bounce off even more, leaving a VERY loud stadium.

oh and why are we putting the new badass scoredboard on the south end zone when we are gonna have to move it anyway? shouldn't we stick it on the north side?

Read an article about the new west end and the contractor said that the north end zone upper deck couldnt be added because of stability issues but that LSU was planning a south end zone upper deck in the future

It will get bigger. Just not sure how much. LSU is all about the money. Some posters say we can't fill the stadium now. FAct is, there is a waiting list for season tickets, people want them and will pay for them. LSU cares more about paid attendance than actual attendance.

This is why I asked who the experts were on this board. Some say yes like it is fact, and others say no, like it is fact as well.

What the hell?

Word.

Last year LSU sold out every home game. This year LSU will offically have sold out every home game when it is said and done.

No shite. I had tickets in the middle of the west upperdeck once and all I could see was white and crimson dots running around ona big blob of green.

Will they provide the upper upper deck fans oxygen tanks and binoculars?

It is going up in the North Endzone this off season. The South endzone will come later (probably when they decide what they will do as far as expansion is concerned).

Google is a wonderful thing...

As for the replay screen on the south scoreboard, Vincent said plans are on hold as LSU contemplates possible expansion options.

LSU is considering adding club seats, suites or an upper deck, or a combination of those elements.

Since the east upper deck and its 70 skyboxes were added to Tiger Stadium in 2000, none of their owners have allowed their leases to expire. There has been little turnover since LSU added 3,255 club seats in the rebuilt west upper deck in 2005, Vincent said.
