To be honest, who cares about concessions? Not there for the concessions, there to watch a game. With all the tailgating outside with good food, y spend money on concessions? Heck if that's the case, eat before going to the game

They've been saying concessions, since I was a kid

Nope a new basketball arena is on tap. Just ask Kim Mulkey, to wait a few more years and watch what happens.

Maybe they will change the blinky LED lightshow lights to rainbow colors, to make it 100% ghey

We’re done with expansions and additions probably forever.
In hindsight, the East Upper should've been more similar to the new South Upper. Less traditional seating, more club level seating, suites and open concourses.
I could see a renovation of that section that accomplishes that in the next 10-20 years, especially if demand for traditional seating continues to diminish.

We all should. Forget that it simply gives you better options. It would produce more revenue to pay coaches and players. Personally, it does not affect my attendance or enjoyment one bit, but unfortunately, revenue drives everything in big time college athletics.

I have renewed my seats. So my section will have no upgrades.

Most of the stuff that needs to fixed can’t due to the athletics department running on a lean budget due to paying off loans from COVID and the uncertainty of NIL revenue sharing

No doubt. There is literally no way you can upgrade the sideline sections at all. Space is just limited by the old structural design. Bathrooms and concessions won’t get an upgrade. It’s why they just change out vendors and hope for the best

Not entirely true. They can demo the dorms and reconfigure that space/ramps. This has already been done in the south endzone.

LSU has always been god awful at facilities upgrades.
With the NIL era, I think there will be a drop off.
If Tiger Stadium were to ever get real upgrades, it needs to be focused on fan experience. The stadium has so many areas filled with dead space that could be transformed into club areas. The seating arrangement in NEZ needs to be rebuilt. With most teams having their own dedicated training facilities, the locker room should be moved to the old weight room. This would give space to build out a field level club in NEZ.

LSU has never been good at having a master plan for upgrades. That’s why it looks like Frankenstein.
