Good post, I disagree. Bama is the enemy now. Doesn't matter what we do Irish will get curb stomped.

Notre Dame fans I met at the 2007 Sugar Bowl were a classy bunch, even after their loss to LSU. Don't think they have a great chance against Bama though.

SEC rep aside, if Bama wins I can't think of a positive thing they'll say about LSU. The older(way older) rivalries and supposed media bias are immaterial. Recruiting now is the key and a Bama win makes that harder.

Geaux Irish.

Why do hate them as much? Bama is the team that is continually shitting down our throat and you want to take it some more?

No Tiger fan from the 50-60's would pull for Notre Dame. You have never seen bias like it was for Notre Dame back then over SEC teams.;

Some people must live in a dream. Saban talked good of LSU yesterday. If Alabama wins, everyone saw we were as good or better than them. If Notre Dame wins the whole SEC looks bad including LSU.

Bama directly prevented us from winning a championship last year and playing for one this year. That's 2 compared to what, 1969 Cotton Bowl? Whatever. We get too many Landon Collins situations we're in trouble and ND won't be the cause.

ND is not taking in state talent. The only logical choice is to pull against Bama.

ND, Ohio State, Michigan, and USC all go a lot of buddy votes for MNCs back in the day and I hated them then. But today, Bama is a way bigger threat to us directly. ND doesn't affect us at all.

I despise any and everything that is Alabama. Just the mention of their name turns my stomach. I pulled for Texas (ugh) when they played three years ago and I'll be wearing green on Jan 7th.

I have two favorite teams in college football....LSU and whomever is playing Bama.

BUCK FAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, a Bama win negatively affects recruiting.

Well, you got your media respect after all these years and now want to chunk it out the window. Pansies.

We don't play the game, so we can't chunk anything.

It doesn't matter who we pull for because we can't affect the outcome of the game.

If Bama wins or loses, the SEC will still be the most respected BCS conference, so calm down and pull for whomever makes you happy.

If the Irish win, more power to them and their team.

If Bama wins, we will have to listen to their bragging until we win another BCS CG.
