Those were his freshman and sophomore seasons as well. I was incorrect though. He was going to start his sophomore year but quite right before the season. They had to emergency move a WR to QB.

Parkview. With younger brothers, I tried to make all their sporting events, so I kept up with most of their teammates while they were playing.

I hated playing yall in the jamboree every year. One half of football against parkview was always the longest game we played all season.

It was especially bad this year. Dunham's first 3 RBs were all hurt for the game and they had to break in a new offense with a new sophomore QB. With the offense focused around quick passes and lots of running, couldn't do much with the 4th guy (not to mention he's all of 5'4" and isn't very fast). It was nasty against PBS.

2012 was a lot better than 2010 (where they missed the playoffs for the first time in forever). Team got a very bad seed in playoffs. Doesn't help that they only had 6 seniors this year.

Edit: This is so far off topic.

His bat is good enough to be an everyday starter, but his biggest problem is he is stuck behind . He is a formidable backup at catcher, but not good enough defensively to beat out Ross. He was tried at 3rd in the fall, but was a defensive liability. He is nowhere near good enough in the field to beat out any of LSU's outfielders. So DH is the only logical place he could play right now. Unless we get a big time recruit come in, my guess is that he will be the every day first baseman next season.

He seems a little streaky to me. He'll either have a 2/4 type game or 0/5 type of game usually.

He hit .261 last year which is decent for a freshman with 4 doubles and 4 HRs with a .381 slug% and .327 OB%. So, he did alright, but showed he cant hit lefties and this year has exclusively hit right handed pitching I believe.

I think if he just learned to get on base a little better he would be more of a regular. He's hitting .289 this year with a .447 slug% (sop he's improved there) but has an OB% of just .308 which is way lower than you want to see out of a guy hitting .289.

I also went to Dunham and laugh my arse off at your assessment that he was the best athlete. I graduated when he was in 7th or 8th grade, but c'mon Bailey, he's not THAT good.
