My brother is a SEAL in afganistan and was wounded over the weekend and has been flown back to the states for surgery and recovery before he heads back over seas to continue his service

So instead of going to west virginia for the game, we will be going to virginia for him. Anywhere LSU friendly to watch the game in virginia beach?

Sorry to hear about your brother. Prayers for your family fellow football fanatic.

I used to live in Virginia Beach. Nice area..except Hampton to the north.

I lived in Va. Beach for about a year (06-07), and can't remember any place in Hampton Roads where LSU fans gathered. There are a few good sports bars, but it's mostly VaTech and Navy fans.

Baileys Pub and Grill up in Richmond used to host gatherings. It's just a short drive.

Hope your bro gets well soon!

if you are near shore drive for the game....Shorebreak, near the Lesner Bridge is terrific.

But I assume that you are at Portsmouth Naval Med Ctr. so.....Roger Browns or Griff's are good.
