24 of 31 and Fla 9 out of 11 from the line.
WW needs to cut out the last 3 minutes of that Fla game and break it down to nail down what not to do.

Will Wade has always emphasized out rebounding the other team and making more free throws then they attempt.

That plus he makes sure his team is ready for the six minute game at the end. He’s done a great job instilling great effort and work ethic

They need to learn how to close. Too many blown leads late in the game.

This year's team is rebounding 36.3% of their misses.

Last year with KBW and Reid we rebounded 36.8% of our misses.

That's incredible when you consider you lose those 2 guys, who get replaced with a 6'9 small forward and 2 6'6 guys having to step up and we're basically just as good.

It’s no accident that we are on the winning side of these games. The analysts say “lucky LSU” but we are an incredible free throw shooting team. It’s so refreshing and still surprises me when we have big guys like emmit Williams get up there and out shoot our guards from past regimes like Anthony Hickey at the line. When you make the shots at the line down the stretch you withstand freak stuff like the last 30 seconds of that game last night

We aren't lucky, IMO. We learned from our last minute close losses in Nov-Dec. Wade has coached these kids to overcome their lack of size in rebounding and lack of 3-point shooting with an offense of drives drawing fouls. We are shooting FT's well. Our game plans are spot on to what we need to do to win.
