Exactly!! Saban lost to UAB and ULM. O lost to Troy. The similarities are uncanny. Clearly orgeron is heading down the same path! Why can't the nega tigers just see this when it's so obvious??

You're right, Miles was very mediocre relative to Saban and O at best.

this isnt true but he did have some talent on that 2000 team. the difference was the lack of talented depth
You mean sort of like the team O inherited from Les Miles last season?

thats were they end. saban didnt have a history of being a bad coach
Actually, those two first losses last year weren't on coach O but on his predecessor the incomparable Les Miles.

It was Saban who woke up the sleeping giant at LSU.

My two cents coach O inherited a team with talent but the Oline was not SEC ready. We were very thin also at a lot of positions.

Miles was every bit Saban's equal, and actually had more success for a longer time at LSU.
Whatever you are smoking loon, package it up and put it up for sale. You will get very rich very fast.

Besides his 13-1 record and NC title his other years at LSU were ok 10-3 Was best year after that. Everyone wants to bitch and complain about current head coach but so far his record is fine. Say what you want but O can accomplish more than Saban at LSU. Miles did just as good as Saban and do think O can too time will tell but shofar so good.

Saban lost to at least 2 teams similar to Troy.
Nah, the teams Saban lost to weren't 12 & 2 like Troy. Moreover, that Troy loss is really on Les Miles because last year's team had a severe deficit in depth in the defensive and offensive trenches. Hence, you can't blame O for something he isn't responsible for.

No way. Lsu is a rebuild. That’s what O and his minions said.
BS! Go read Aranda's two-part interview and Dellinger's addendum to that interview in the Advocate. It's irrefutable that the LSU team O took over is a rebuild. Unless you believe Aranda and Dellinger are both incompetent and liars.

Believe it or not O inherited a few position coaches that were not very good teachers. Position coaches are very important , kids come from HS most of that time being superstars from talent alone. Coaches need to teach technic because kids across from them one he field in college are thier equal if not better in talent.

Holy shite the stupidity never ends on this board.

O is 15-6 in 1.5 seasons.
Are you really touting O's record at LSU thus far? Saban at Alabama has lost a TOTAL of 6 games in FIVE seasons dating back to 2013.
quote:
Hell O should be 1-1 against BAMA if Etling would have not thrown grounders with SE as OC we will have some big offensive numbers and re check those offensive numbers when SE was O's OC in 16
An Orgeron led LSU team has never even held a lead against Bama, yet you're insinuating that O would be 1-1 against them if Etling hadn't thrown "grounders"....

2017 was all Orgeron's, 8 games and an offseason removed from Miles.
Other than Bama, the losses in 2017 were on the coaching staff. If there was talented depth problem it was because O's staff couldn't keep them.
LSU totally outscored Troy late in the game and seems Troy had the depth problem.
MSU was a shitstorm early when the offense couldn't protect the defense, and coming out of halftime MSU marched right down the field on a rested Defense. (Oh, I'm sorry Dave, I've opened you up to another Cheerio attack)

I think the term you’re looking for is median. Of those 3 Miles is definitely the median

You are correct, and King Saban lost four his last year (had a signature win over Troy by four amazing points that year, though). You forget, most of the O haters on the Rant have not been Tiger fans for long and all believe perception is greater than reality.
