55 hits in 265 official at bats

Of those 55 hits, 31% (17 hits) came in Game 2 of the Tennessee series.

Mainieri with another buddy hire of a former player (played for PM at Notre Dame) at hitting coaching is simply not working at this point.

What's the fielding % though?

That seems to be the only stat Paul looks at.

Maybe the wind direction and mph.

So averaging 4 hits per game over the other games (28 in 7 games).

Pathetic.

Not splitting hairs but it’s 38 hits in the other 7 games or slightly over 5 hits per game...

Still pathetic.

Yeah, that’s my bad on the math. Mea culpa.

As you said, point remains.

Jeebus! Really puts it in perspective how bad our hitting is. The one game where we hit well is an outlier.

I tried to tell others here our batting would suck in the sec... but you know the usual idiots here gotta break our there "I know everything about baseball handbook" and claim how lsu batting was slamming it last year and year before. It's the same ones who just into all threads and start shite with people

Is there any kind of breakdown of RISP hitting?

55/265 is bad enough. The number of hits with the bases empty or a runner on first is even more indicative of lack of productivity.

Batting 208 I doubt there were many hits with RISP. We don’t get that many runners.
