There are a few ways to stop the run.
First, be bigger and better at the point of attack (line of scrimmage). If your Dline can penetrate, the runs will stop.
Second, (and this one youve seen every week by every team that plays LSU). Stack the box with more people. Tenn. suffocated our run game in the first half (60 yds). BUT, if you are going to do this strategy, your secondary better be able to play SOLID Man-to-Man Coverage. This is where other teams have failed and where LSU will not.
So even if strategy #1 doesnt work for us, expect alot of #2.
