No contact with crown of helmet. JB was a ball carrier there, not a defenseless opponent.

Now if an LSU defender did it, it may be targeting.

How do you figure it would be targeting?

Green was a ball carrier. That has nothing to do with the stupid rule. They have to make a exclusion to the rule though that once you are a carrier it just cant ever be targeting.

I sent that to the review team in Birmingham... No targeting and Auburn DB is awarded $5k.

By today’s rules Ronnie Lott of old Oakland Raider would have been called for targeting every single time; he was a punishing headhunter.

by today's rules? dude, that was 2019 not 1980.

burrow is a runner and it's shoulder to chest with no forcible contact to the head or neck.

by no one's definition, other than your own delusions, is this in any way targeting.

Devin White pushed the Miss State QB in the end zone which cause the player to fall to the ground.

that's called 'SEC' targeting and the bastards in Birmingham behind the TV screen have the final say; and can not be questioned by the coach or he will be fined.

Devin should have known better to hit a player weeks before the Gump game.
