They had had some guys who could throw but that wasn't a team that won with pitching. This 2022 team definitely has a better staff. Verdugo was the ace and didn't have an out pitch. Blake Martin, Jordan Brown. Both had ERAs over 5.00. For as many good outings and jams Bradford got LSU through he had just as many clunkers.

Still laugh at UNO rolling into the Box with their slow pitch softball beer league all star team and getting drummed. They thought they were going to take out LSU and never even got a game against LSU.
