And it's not as if we're playing very smart, disciplined ball with great intensity, and we're just losing to better teams.
The second half last night was an embarrassment, on the players and coaches. We have a horrific offensive set, with very little movement. No set plays to free up a shooter - none. Defensive and especially rebounding intensity was very poor.
These aren't just things you brush off and say "we'll get 'em next time." These are systemic flaws that really should never occur. And the fact that we're seeing them occur, and occur again, is troubling.
Look, I hope we improve, but if you know what you're watching, you can't just bury your head in the sand. There are some real issues here.

That may be the only game duke loses all season. It happened ealry because they’re young
Re: Kentucky - they often lose 2-3 early season matchups just like we have. They usually turn it around later once they figure it out.
Noone said theyre bums, we said theyre teams with young players just like LSU.

Agreed tugerlunatik. Absolutely no question that kentucky’s loaded freshman struggle early, happens year in year out, and absolutely no question that these posters don’t actually watch or follow college basketball.

LOL, as if WW isnt coaching the team. You think he shoild just give up and tell them to do the same? You think he isnt doing what coaches do when their young players play like shite? I guess we needed you. Thanks to your post we can see that our coach needs to coach! Amazing.
Did you see naz reid get benched, barely play a few games? Hint - it wasnt just his ankle.
Maybe we should let the season play out some before you condemn the coach/team as inept.
And again, dont come back celebrating if we go 23-11 or so and make the tourney.

Show me a better product and I'll gladly compliment the team and staff. But last night was a big red flag to anyone who's observant.
