Why Frey was put in the game today to pinch run after royally screwing up against Nicholls was bad
It was merrifield against Nicholls, but that makes it worse. They’re not learning from the mistakes of others even when they get their chance

Dude you watch todays game. It’s been like this most of the year with our pitching staff. Wake up this team will not make it to World Series. Stop trying to convince yourself and face reality

This team doesn't need "adversity". They need better relief pitching.

Bump.
Just a few short weeks ago, I brought up the point that our team had faced very little adversity until the Aurburn and Miss State series.
A few posters wanted to bring up ULL and Nichols as if midweek games really mattered.
A few agreed with me that the losses could and would be a much needed wake up call.
A few went out there and said we’d lose regionals, not make Omaha, and that we should drop out of the top 10.
I choose to believe the Jay was trying to figure out which guys could get it done in certain situations.
