Looks really good, and won't be an easy win by any measure. I have full respect for them and I hope our team does too. They should absolutely be a top 25 team.

Did I put a question mark? Feel like our fan base is way overlooking them because of our winning past with them.

What does it matter what the FAN BASE is doing?

Forgive the man for trying to have a discussion about our upcoming opponent.

Lol. Because they beat two bad teams? Their win total in Vegas is 5.5. Our fans are something else. I'm not saying state is terrible...but all these people pumping them after those wins is just ridiculousm

Moo State is an historic doormat for us, but you can't count them out of at least putting up a good game. Obviously the kids (and coaches) on this team remember 2014. I think we play solid and aren't really threatened in the 2nd half. MSU isn't very good this year.

Why would our team not respect their first sec opponent? This MSU hype is rediculous. It'll be a solid game no doubt, but our fan base seems to be running scared of this team.

Nick Fitzgerald is the best QB in the west not named Shea Patterson. He's Jalen Hurts except he can accurately pass the ball and make good decisions.

This State team will come in feeling good about themselves (just like you feel about them) after playing two pitiful defenses. When they face this defense it'll be a very rude wake up call.

They're used to getting shot with paintballs. This week they're at the end of a 12 gauge.

You clearly haven't watched him play this year. He probably has a 50ish % completion percent. His skill is in his legs, not his arm. And he isn't running on this front seven.

So like a Lamar Jackson type? I think we can handle that.

Yep. Based on playing 2 absolute nobodies and coming off a 5-7 season last year I can certainly understand why there is so much optimism about this team which has historicly been a complete doormat.

Let's see, LSU has outrecruited State badly for many years; has top notch Coordinators and staff members which are far superior to State coaches, & has dominated this series forever. Oh wait, the "great" Dan Mullen is the head coach at State.

So LSU has more talent at virtually every position and two of the best coordinators in the nation along with a tremendous staff and because Dan Mullen led State to a 5-7 record last season and has defeated two cupcakes to start this season LSU is now supposed to feel threatened by Moo U??

Ha-ha-ha-ha!!!

LSU rolls. LSU 35 MSU 17.
