Stingley, Stevens, Delpit, Fulton. That is four 5-Stars that will be starting for us this year. When was the last time we could say that we’ve had that?

With Stingley returning punts, I'm really excited to see what they see in him. Could be TM7 part 2.

Most talented, but yet not very deep on the outside.

Depth could be an issue but I agree with your assessment.

Don't count out the rest of these DB's. Raymond likes them, I like them. I think those of you in the "no depth" group might be surprised by the athletic ability of Todd Harris and Kirkland. The other true freshman have excellent length and coverage skills.

Hopefully they can get up to speed before they are needed.

1) I don't see Delpit as a 5 star anywhere

2) is Stevens a starter in the base look? I thought Todd Harris was the other starting safety. I know we prob won't play base a whole lot/ both will play/ etc., just asking

practice reports say Harris is running with the 1s at safety but i'm sure stevens will still be on the field a ton in the box

I think you see that defense the most this year

No of the star crap matters. Can they play the position. Can they cover in both man to man and zone

Exactly. The guy should have been. But if you go by should haves then Stevens would not be a five star.

Just frickin' absurd.

Most talented secondary in college football history.

Stevens was a safety in the rankings, but he was just an athlete. Dominated UA as a WR and I think will have a pro career like CJ Moseley.

He's going to be a BEAST for us this year.

Stevens is about to frick the world up.

Look at his stats when he finally figures out his position last year.

He’s nuts

He looks very good. Just about the way I'd hope a medium level four star would turn out.

Delpit and Fulton have performed like five stars. Stevens has not. That's just the facts.
