I love that pic but I think he should be facing forward. I think either in a position like he is fixing to receive the snap while in the shotgun or while standing in the pocket fixing to throw a pass. You want future generations to see his face not just the back of his jersey. That’s just my opinion.

It’s a statue, not a poster. You can see the front and the back.

I really hope they don’t use Burreaux on the statue. I really don’t think LSU would do that. I loved that moment but I just think him in a throwing motion would be better. That pose is not what I will remember about him 20 years from now. When a kid walks up to the statue for the first time I want him or her to know that that man was a QB. The greatest LSU and maybe college QB of all time.

We need to build a statue like this about 3,000 feet tall with a leg straddling both sides of the Mississippi River like the Colossus of Rhodes.
