Think about how good that guy would have been if he could get a veteran QB to run his offense year in and year out and not actually have to develop a QB.

Think about the offensive knowledge he had compared to Sloan. Dude put up like 600 yards of offense back in the day when Tech played Nebraska, and that kind of output wasn’t near as common as it is now. Nebraska was actually still good when he dropped half a thousand in Lincoln.

ETA: we could probably insert Tim Rattay at OC and do better.
