He is my coach, since Dale Brown!

That's what I've been screaming. The field right now is as wide open as I can remember. This team has all 5 starters averaging double-figures. There aren't many other teams who can say that. Offensively, there is really no one guy a defense can focus on shutting down. And when LSU does miss a shot, they attack the glass with such effort that almost 50% of the time they get a second shot on the possession.
We were all worried about the lack of frontcourt size going into the season. So far that hasn't been a problem..as they are rebounding just as well as they did last season and scoring MORE efficiently than they did last season.
It's the inconsistent defense and dumb turnovers that are making seemingly every game a nailbiter. IMO, both of those are correctable issues. Or at least moreso that generating points. The question is can Wade actually get it corrected? Or is this just tough talk? If so, then this team could really make some noise in Feb/March. If not, then I think we will be lamenting their unfulfilled potential. I can tell you that simply from a personnel standpoint there simply aren't a lot of teams that want to see LSU show up on the schedule

Agreed with everything you said... I hope he can get it corrected, because this could be a team that makes a deep run if they get it all figured out.
Even if they don't and just flame out in the tournament, it's nice to be consistent enough to be in that conversation in back to back years again

Years back River Center was used for awhile during one season, so it's doable.

I think we are seeing wade adjust his and the team’s expectations mid season. Early they were struggling it was “make it a 6 minute game and pull one out”. Now that we are sitting better, as you said when you survey the field with the right draw we could make a run but no matter who we draw in March we need to be playing full games and not blowing leads and letting momentum shift.
