Still not answering.
It's been answered by multiple posters. You're just too fricking dumb to comprehend it.

Because the answer is on page 1, page 2, page 3 and page 4. No reason to repeat it anymore when you simply cannot comprehend.

Why do you assume the staff didn't know about it?

NCAA Transfer Portal Facts
This is right off the NCAA’s website:
Q: What information will be in the Transfer Portal?
A: Your NCAA ID, school, sport, athletics aid status, undergraduate/postgraduate status and email address will initially be the only information listed in the portal. After the compliance office submits the notification of transfer, your academics and athletics history will be entered to help other schools assess your NCAA eligibility.
The compliance office of the school a player is transferring from is responsible for communicating ALL information about a player’s status per NCAA rules. There is no question about this. You can rant all you fricking want, but schools expect these rules to actually be followed.
The only real question left is whether Houston did send us this information and someone on our end missed it. If so, that person will undoubtedly be fired. But keep on blaming the head football coach for a person they didn’t hire and have no direct contact with, and that’s assuming the mistake was on our end, which I doubt.

The SEC didn't know he was suspended either
quote:
If Houston didn't report it in his transfer paperwork, why would he be proactive?
quote:
Until Wednesday all reports were that it was an Unsportsmanlike penalty which doesn't require the kid to sit. It is that easy.
quote:
The penalty was officially recorded as an ejection for Unsportsmanlike Conduct. That suspension would not carry over to another game. The Big 12 officials fricked this up and they notified Houston directly, but never made that public.
quote:
Him being ejected only matters for certain penalties, shite for brains. Half the people in this thread have pointed that out, but it’s obviously beyond your meager powers of comprehension.
quote:
The only folks who OFFICIALLY knew his status were: the Big12 Conference Office and the UHouston AD's office.
quote:
Houston is in the Big 12, you fricking idiot. And if Houston was deliberately withholding this, what makes you think the Big 12 would say anything to LSU?
quote:
It doesn't matter what EVERYONE else saw. The only thing that mattered is the Unsportsmanlike Penalty issued that LSU was informed on.
That's just the first three pages of this thread. Reading Comprehension is an important skill

Hundreds of people are on this staff. Coach Kelly is the head of that staff.
No excuses.
No excuses.

how do you know he didnt know and was just keeping his mouth shut hoping it wouldn't be revealed?
Irrelevant. The player doesn’t manage the roster and depth charts. The kid didn’t make himself the starter.
The head coach making 10M a year did!
nevermind ,youre an idiot.
